I don’t know if you have read any of my blogs, or this would be your first, but Welcome! or Hello again! I wanted to do something a little different this year with my blog, one to keep me more accountable, and two to add some excitement for writing again! So, I originally started to try a new ingredient each month and this will be similar, but I am going to concentrate on spices and herbs. Why?
I have always been interested in learning about spices! It is an area that I don’t know much about, and I think would grow my understanding about foods and nutrition. One thought I have had is, can you add flavor without the unneeded fat? I think you can, so that is what I am going to explore.
I will be using Essential Spices and Herbs Book by Christina Nichol to help me in this journey. I received it from my brother as a birthday gift a couple years back and its time to use it!
